Splicity-A New App to Help You Tell Great Stories for iPhone

Local Arizona App designer Caleb Barclay designed a new storytelling app available for the iPhone. If you’re one of those people who have trouble telling a story (hint you probably are of those people but in deep denial) there’s an app for that.  Any good story should be 30 seconds long (have a beginning, middle, touch of humor and then end) and if you have people’s interest then provide more details.

This also applies when telling stories at cocktail parties.  Nothing is more maddening (well maybe a few things are) when people tell a story and add vivid details that don’t add to the story or to try and make it more interesting.  If  you have to add details-it’s already not interesting.  Hint:  30 seconds for any story or friends should be allowed to Taser you to speed it up.  I once told I guy I was dating that it probably wouldn’t work out because he didn’t know how to tell a story.  Sadly, I was right on both counts.
