Jerry Seinfeld-Asshole to Glasshole
June 28, 2014
Jerry Seinfeld is just the latest paid pawn proving that Google Glass is clueless on how or who to market their product to, as he’s on this month’s Wired according to his wife’s Instagram. I’m sure it’s a hilarious Seinfeldesque take on the product. (yawn) No, I’m sure we’ll get to watch a comedian officially jumping the shark in a product that never even made it in the water. Jason Jones of the Daily Show did it best (and first).

It’s a bit of an oddity having a company which has a company motto of “Don’t be evil” (it’s even the first line of their Code Of Conduct http://investor.google.com/corporate/code-of-conduct.html) who provide such an easy way for users of their product to be so invasive.
I think their PR/Marketing people are a bit tone deaf also. Maybe it’s just Silicon Valley elitism at it’s worst.
And, if the Washington Post and the Guardian are correct, they allow(ed) NSA access to their data stores.

I am really enjoying the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any internet browser
compatibility problems? A number of my blog audience have complained about my website
not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?

Hi Adam-Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to comment. I have run into similar compatibility problems in that past (I hope they’re in the past) and Rob from Corndog Computers http://corndogcomputers.com/ helped fix those issues. He checks the font (not everyone has Apple products) and some fonts look amazing on apple but not other products and he also checks screen size and browser compatiability. Rob’s very reasonable and can remote access and fix those issues usually pretty quickly. Your site is very sharp and sleek and just sounds like it needs a little fine tuning. My site is a template design from Blueblog.my.id http://themeforest.net/item/blue-blog-responsive-wordpress-blog-theme/5148561 where once Rob set it up I was able to design and add content, create pages etc. Rob again fine tuned but for the most part it’s pretty easy to run. Thanks again for reading and taking the time to comment-Melayna
