The New York Times has Twitter all a flitter today with their list of The Top 20 Venture Capitalists Worldwide. While the rest of the world may still be blinded by the billions from venture capitalists, frequent readers to this site are familiar with the world’s largest venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA) which, in part, funded startup medical device fraud with Conceptus sold to Bayer’s Essure and Gynecare & Acclarent both which sold to Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon. All three NEA-funded startups are now embroiled in legal trouble that’s funded the medical device war on women and responsible for the tech and med tech bubble to pop in 2008.

Venture Capital and the startups they fund are notorious for lack of diversity or racism & sexism, so it also shouldn’t shock frequent readers of this site who already know NEA profited from injury to female Essure & Gynecare Mesh victims, that NEA Partner Scott D. Sandell supports a known child incest rapist, Min Zhu, when in the Fall of 2005 Sandell announced his backing of Northern Light, a venture capital fund co-founded in China by Min Zhu.
In the summer of 1988, Min Zhu threatened to kill his fourteen year old daughter Erin, unless she gave in to his sexual advances. Min continued to rape Erin every night until the school year began. subrah.com
NEA Partner Scott D. Sandell knowingly and willingly entered into a venture capital-funded partnership with Min Zhu.
NEA has proven time and again they’ll put profits before patients, especially if those patients are female.
