UPDATED: Beau Biden Should be Remembered for Many Things but Protecting Children From Abuse Shouldn’t be One of Them
Every dead man is a saint and every living one a sinner
May 30, 2015 According to The Washington Post
Vice President Biden late Saturday announced the death of his son Beau Biden. Here is his statement:
It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life.
The entire Biden family is saddened beyond words. We know that Beau’s spirit will live on in all of us—especially through his brave wife, Hallie, and two remarkable children, Natalie and Hunter.
Beau’s life was defined by service to others. As a young lawyer, he worked to establish the rule of law in war-torn Kosovo. A major in the Delaware National Guard, he was an Iraq War veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star. As Delaware’s Attorney General, he fought for the powerless and made it his mission to protect children from abuse. (see story below)
More than his professional accomplishments, Beau measured himself as a husband, father, son and brother. His absolute honor made him a role model for our family. Beau embodied my father’s saying that a parent knows success when his child turns out better than he did.
Condolences to the Biden family for the loss of their son, brother, husband, and father. The family is entitled to their understandable grief and Beau Biden should be remembered but factually.
This is not a “party” issue. This is an issue of men getting away with sex crimes and now the PRSpin to rewrite the negative past that approved that behavior. Beau Biden, as Delaware Attorney General approved the deal that allowed a known child rapist and DuPont heir Robert H. Richards IV who raped his own three-year-old daughter (and also donated to Biden’s campaign) off with house arrest despite Richards’ confession.
This allowed Richards the opportunity to allegedly molest his young son, a crime he was never charged with which is not the same as innocent. It just means the Attorney General’s office (the same one that gave him house arrest despite Richards’ confession) couldn’t find enough information to make charges stick.
Child molestation cases face severe criminal penalties and just as Josh Duggar from the recent 19 Kids and Counting should face charges for his confirmed sex crimes and hasn’t demonstrates a pathological problem regardless of political affiliation of allowing men to get away with sex crimes.
Beau Biden can be remembered for many things but to a three-year-old girl, her brother and to anyone who can look past politics and focus on the issue of men getting away with sex crimes, he cannot be remembered as someone who protected children from abuse.
Original story April 17, 2014
As suspected, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden (son of Vice President Joe Biden) is looking to upgrade his political position. And let’s not forget earlier this month Beau Biden came out defending the indefensible, Judge Jan Jurden’s decision to allow the DuPont heir, Robert H. Richards IV, who raped his three year old daughter off with probation because:
“Richards “will not fare well” in prison.”
Biden writes in his defense (as if there is any):
‘In recognition of the weakness of the case (WHAT?), the assigned prosecutor offered a plea and sentence recommendation that guaranteed the defendant would be required to register as a sex offender, participate in court-ordered sex offender rehabilitation therapy and to have no contact with the victim and any other child under the age of 16. A loss at trial would have rendered any of these restrictions impossible.’
Does this sound WEAK?:
Richards, who is 6’4 and about 250 pounds, told the girl ‘to keep what he had done to her a secret,’ but in October 2007 she told her grandmother, who informed Tracy Richards (the mother of the child), the lawsuit said. ’Making matters worse this self-admitted rapist and child abuser has not paid a single penny to these children for his crimes. said Attorney Thomas Crumplar, who is representing Tracy Richards. When has evidence and admission of guilt equaled a weak case? Ever?
So let’s run it through the model to see if he’s qualified to represent the people of Delaware as their Governor:
-Manipulation of his father’s position (announces day after father joins Instagram)
-He views people as accomplices who will become eventual victims (I could even see his father falling in this category once he is no longer useful after the 2016 election).
-Lack of remorse or shame (he didn’t wait long after to announce)
-Lack of accountability to the victim and her family
-Standing with the judge creates hopelessness in the victim
-His actions were demeaning and insulting
That’s enough for me to say NO TO BEAU as we can tell his political aspirations will only continue to grow along with his activity on The Sociopathic Business Model™.
