Johnson & Johnson What Doesn’t Kill YOU Makes THEM Stronger
September 2, 2014
Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes was in the news last week recalling a CMF Distraction System used on children; and, today the companies are in the news again facing a new round of lawsuits blamed for poisoning patients. That’s not to be confused with Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes setting aside $2.5 billion last year to resolve over 8,000 artificial defective hips.
Well you’ll all be happy to know that Johnson & Johnson DePuy Synthes, taking a page out of The Sociopathic Business Model™ playbook didn’t punish the executives to blame for recalls and lawsuits but rather made employees (accomplices) the victims by firing 400 employees right before July 4th weekend.
But Alex Gorsky, CEO of Johnson & Johnson Worldwide has job security despite 22,000 mesh cases, billions in hips, recalls, lawsuits at a 97.2% approval rating from the board (which he also sit on). JNJ Q2 profts are up 14.9% despite all the problems and the only ones who feel the pain are Johnson & Johnson pateints, employees, consumers and taxpayers who are paying at all too high of a price.
Why are we still supporting Johnson & Johnson or any of their subsidiaries again?
