CBS’s Undercover Boss Airs Sexist Television Again: Bikinis CEO Doug Guller is a DICK
December 28, 2014
First, CEO Doug Guller of Bikinis in Austin Texas should never be allowed to own a business or be a CEO of a company, ever. Need proof? Get your hands on tonight’s episode of CBS’s Undercover Boss and tell me you feel any differently. He’s a little taste of what’s on CEO Doug Guller’s sexist menu-he refers to his workers (who are forced to wear (you guessed it) bikini tops as Bikini Babes and trademarked the word Breastaurant. That’s not clever it’s insulting and demeaning but he beamed with pride on television as if he’d just cured cancer.
(Weird Bikinis isn’t proudly right under his name?)
One of the bartenders refused to wear her bikini top on camera which really seemed to insult CEO Doug Guller and instead of respecting the rights of his employee he fired her on national television. So while one employee was fired another was gifted a reward of breast implants. Not sure I even need to say it but just in case: Boycott Bikinis in Austin, Texas.
Next time you’d like to reward an employee start with yourself Mr. Guller.
Second, CBS needs to cancel Undercover Boss immediately. This isn’t the first time Undercover Boss exploited scantily clad women for ratings-similar restaurants Tilted Kilt and Twin Peaks were featured. This is nothing more than blatant sexism endorsed by CBS and in turn their sponsors.
I’ll keep updating with a list of CEO Doug Guller’s other restaurants (so be sure and avoid those as well-guessing THAT won’t be hard)-and perhaps that’s Mr. Guller’s problem since he exploits women in his impotent business model.
