What Makes A Team Smarter? More Women: Silicon Valley Edition

Defend Your Research: What makes a team smarter? More women
There’s little correlation between a group’s collective intelligence and the IQs of its individual members. But if a group includes more women, its collective intelligence rises.
You realize you’re saying that groups of women are smarter than groups of men.
Woolley: Yes. And you can tell I’m hesitating a little. It’s not that I don’t trust the data. I do. It’s just that part of that finding can be explained by differences in social sensitivity, which we found is also important to group performance. Many studies have shown that women tend to score higher on tests of social sensitivity than men do. So what is really important is to have people who are high in social sensitivity, whether they are men or women.
Harvard Business Review Anita Wooley & Thomas W. Malone
The Sociopathic Business Model™ supports that if social sensitivity was applied to the hiring processes for executives and management it could reduce corporate fraud while creating a happier work environment which increases employee productivity, accountability, marketability and profitability, ethically (The MMpiHer Method™.) As this site often points out though the goal of Venture Capitalists, who fund startups, want a quick ROI (return on investment), and quick profit seldom intersects with ethics.
What’s still missing from board rooms? Women
Venture capital funds startup fraud, and women report fraud more frequently.
This is why you won’t see more women in venture capital or startup founder roles.
Business Insider’s Tanza Loudenback compiled a list of the 18 coolest women in Silicon Valley (noticeably absent from the list ethically challenged Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg-which instantly gave Loudenback’s list more credibility)
Some on the list have previously been written about on this site for their work exposing The Sociopathic Business Model™ as a means to protect employees from discrimination:
Boston based employee rights attorney Shannon-Liss Riordan
Previous partner to venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and current Reddit CEO Ellen Pao
CEO Yahoo, Marissa Mayer
And some on Loudenback’s list will likely serve as an active case study:
Founder CEO Brit+CO Brit Morin
Megan Quinn & Mary Meeker are both partners at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
