The NYT Magazine ran a jaw-dropping and rather lengthy but nicely in-depth article about Poitras’ and Snowden’s collaboration.

Interesting tidbit, as an example of what she/they went through: She moved her residence to Berlin during editing of the footage to avoid the FBI suddenly showing up with warrants and absconding with her work.
As you can see from this article, much of the work which is critical of Amerika’s “security” infrastructure must be done offshore simply to be allowed to exist. This tells us a lot.

Great article, thank you for sharing. I’m always amazed at the number of people who do not see the dangers of the NSA’s lawlessness. Interesting Congress was against what Snowden did, Feinstein one of the most vocal, until it was revealed that the NSA also accessed their information.
Can you imagine being told you couldn’t take notes and a pen was considered a weapon? I knew I respected Poitras, but when I read she asked the interrogaters for a crayon-well, that’s my kinda gal;)
