Today’ headline introduces three big things in the news that demonstrates victims of corrupt corporations fighting back with #ForcedAccountability:
1.Victims vs. Government

September 24, 2015 #FDAStrikingWomen Victims of Bayer’s permanent birth control Essure have a hearing with the FDA; and, they’re not coming alone but they are coming hungry. #GetActive Please support all victims of FDA medical device negligence by raising awareness & participating in a day long hunger strike by posting at least three pictures (breakfast, lunch and dinner) of meals you would have eaten with the hashtag:
#FDAStrikingWomen + the specific company you want to expose +link to information to educate those not familiar with FDA negligence (please also ReTweet the hashtag throughout the day for continued support)
2. Government (on behalf of taxpaying medical device victims) vs. Government Last week the Government Accountability Office (GAO) announced an investigation into the FDA.
Anesthesiologist Amy Reed suffered that horrible outcome following a hysterectomy at a Boston hospital in 2013. Since then, she and her husband, heart surgeon Hooman Noorchashm, have been campaigning for a ban on electric morcellators. philly.com
Sad, it takes two highly respected physicians to get the government’s attention. Thankfully they’re helping hundreds of thousands take a stand against the medical device industry & the government. The Committee on Oversight and Investigations is chaired by Rep. Tim Murphy of Pennsylvania’s 18th congressional district. Congressman Tim Murphy is the only active clincial psychologist in Congress, supports mental health issues and why he’s not a Presidential candidate in 2016 is beyond me.
3. Government (on behalf of taxpaying medical device victims) vs. Corporations Justice Department Sets Sights on Wall Street Executives
The Justice Department(DOJ) often targets companies themselves and turns its eyes toward individuals only after negotiating a corporate settlement. In many cases, that means the offending employees go unpunished. (In a memo), a copy of which was provided to The New York Times, tells civil and criminal investigators to focus on individual employees from the beginning. In settlement negotiations, companies will not be able to obtain credit for cooperating with the government unless they identify employees and turn over evidence against them, “regardless of their position, status or seniority.” Credit for cooperation can save companies billions of dollars in fines and mean the difference between a civil settlement and a criminal charge.
Those familiar with this site will note that two executives from my former employer Johnson & Johnson Ethicon Acclarent William (Bill) Facteau & Patrick (Pat) Fabian were among targets of a federal investigation which resulted in their arrest and an 18 count federal indictment, which supports the DOJ memo. This should put the fear of God into (especially the startup) #GodsOfFrauds but thankfully egos that big thing think they’re beyond reproach making the most secure job in Silicon Valley that of the white collar crime attorneys. Speaking of white collar crime attorneys: if you’re tired of watching CEO’s & executives commit crimes at the taxpayer’s expense then please join (#GetActive) BOYCOTT Covington’s Clients Until They #FireEricHolder who clearly continues to work both sides of the fence at taxpayer expense.
